Why We Need A New/Bigger Sanctuary for the Church

As a church family, we give God all the glory for the tremendous growth and impact we’ve seen over the past few years. Trinity Worship Tabernacle, an affiliate of CrossPower Agape Ministries, has witnessed a steady increase in attendance, new ministries taking shape, and greater outreach into our community. However, with growth comes new challenges—and one of the most pressing is the need for a bigger sanctuary.

We’ve Outgrown Our Current Space

Sunday after Sunday, we find ourselves scrambling to find enough room for our congregation. It’s not uncommon to see people standing at the back or ushers trying to squeeze in extra chairs. As a ministry that welcomes people from all walks of life, this limitation is not just uncomfortable—it’s unsustainable. A new sanctuary would provide ample space for our growing church family to worship in comfort, dignity, and unity.

Medical Missions: Expanding Compassion

One of the key outreach arms of CrossPower is our medical missions. Once a year, we convert the current church building into a fully functional medical clinic to serve the community—offering free consultations, basic treatments, and medications. However, due to limited space, we often struggle to accommodate all the patients and volunteers effectively. A larger, purpose-built sanctuary would allow us to provide medical care to a far greater number of people in a more organized, efficient, and hygienic way. It would become a true house of healing—both spiritually and physically.

The Pulpit Area Needs Expansion

Our vibrant Praise and Worship team has also grown in numbers and skill. Unfortunately, the current pulpit area no longer provides enough room for instruments, vocalists, or movement. Often, the team feels cramped, which limits both expression and excellence. Along with that, our sound technician is currently seated at the front, which makes it difficult to properly mix the audio or avoid distractions. A new sanctuary would allow us to redesign the platform—giving the worship team the space they need, and relocating the sound desk to the rear of the building where it belongs, improving both sound quality and the worship experience for everyone.

A Built-in Baptism Pool

Baptism is one of the most sacred and powerful moments in the life of a believer. Right now, our baptisms are done outside, and while we are thankful to be able to do them, this setup has limitations. We are at the mercy of the weather—wind, rain, or extreme heat can disrupt the moment. A permanent indoor baptism pool would not only solve these practical challenges but also allow us to conduct baptisms year-round with dignity and reverence.

Better Security Through a Stronger Structure

As our ministry continues to grow, so does the need for enhanced security. A new sanctuary would be built with stronger, more secure materials that would allow us to consolidate our operations within one safe and reliable structure. Our vision includes installing CCTV cameras and controlled access to better safeguard church equipment, medical supplies, and most importantly, the people who enter our doors.

A House Worthy of His Glory

This new sanctuary is not just about having more room. It’s about honoring God with a house worthy of His glory. It’s about serving people better, worshiping without limits, caring for the sick, and baptizing new believers in a space that reflects the excellence and love of our Savior.

We invite you to join us—whether in prayer, giving, or spreading the word—as we step out in faith toward this new chapter. Together, we can build a sanctuary that meets today’s needs and prepares us for tomorrow’s harvest.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” – Psalm 127:1
