CrossPower Academy Expands: New Classrooms, Computer Lab, Music Room, and School Van!
We are excited to announce that CrossPower Academy has expanded in a major way! As part of our mission to provide the best possible education and environment for our students, we recently completed several new developments on campus.
Three brand new classrooms, a computer lab, a music classroom, and a new staff room for our teachers were officially finished on the last day of March — just in time for the start of this new term. These additions are already making a big difference, giving our students more space to learn, grow, and explore their talents in technology and music.
CrossPower Academy is a proud wing of CrossPower Agape Ministries. The school is an important part of the larger ministry complex, and these upgrades mark a big step forward in our journey.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we were also able to purchase a brand new school van! This van has been a huge blessing, allowing us to reach more students in surrounding areas. It has already played a major role in helping increase enrollment, as more parents are now enrolling their children at CrossPower Academy after seeing the quality of transportation and care we provide.
In fact, we are thrilled to share that enrollment has increased by 54% over the last term alone! God willing, we plan to continue growing even more as our reputation for excellence spreads across the region. We are proud to say that when it comes to facilities and care, no children’s home in the region matches the standard we are setting — and we thank God for making it possible.
An important part of this growth has been the leadership of Joy Muhota, Stephen’s wife, who has played a key role in raising the bar. Joy has instilled a strong culture of cleanliness and high expectations among the staff, especially when it comes to the grooming and presentation of both the children at the home and the students at the school. Together, Stephen and Joy as the heads of CrossPower continue to model and maintain strong Christian values for all the children to follow, ensuring that CrossPower remains not just a school but a place of true character-building.
We are also happy to share that parents are noticing and appreciating the improvements. Many have told us how their children come home excited about their experiences at school, and they’ve expressed their gratitude for the changes we’ve made.
We invite you to see for yourself! Attached are pictures and a short video snippet from our recent school closing celebration at the end of last term. You’ll also find pictures of our beautiful new school van!
We thank God and all our supporters for being a part of this journey. The best is yet to come!
